chronic blepharospasm
The word chronic is defined as of long duration, continuing, lasting for a long period of time or marked by frequent recurrence, as certain diseases.
Blepharospasm is defined as a neurological disorder evidenced by uncontrolled and involuntary eye twitching or blinking. In the most severe cases, the individual may have 20-20 vision but because the eyes remain closed, the sufferer is considered legally blind.
I was diagnosed with blepharospasm over 20 years ago. I went through the “treatment of choice”, injections, but after two treatments and seeing my eyes and smile look “artificial”, I stopped. A short time later, I started a nutritional program that dramatically diminished the eye twitching. If it helped me, maybe it could help you.
